Steps for Using a Silicone Contact Layer

1. Wash the wound with saline, remove secretions and necrotic tissue, and gently pat the skin around the wound dry with sterile gauze.

2. Open the silicone contact layer package and remove the silicone contact layer dressing with sterile tweezers.

3. Press the silicone contact layer lightly to fit the wound, with the edge 1-2cm beyond the wound, ensuring that it is flat and wrinkle-free and fits the skin tightly.

4. Choose a dressing or negative pressure dressing according to the exudation of the wound.

5. Change regularly: change every 1-3 days or when the exudate is soaked to avoid infection.
