Indication of PHMB Dressing

Rx Indications

PHMB Alginate Dressing is indicated for the management ofmoderate to heavily exudating wounds, and partial to fullthickness wounds, including postoperative wounds, first and second degree burns, trauma wounds, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, graft and donor sites.

Contraindications

PHMB Alginate Dressing must not be used during thefirst four months of pregnancy(at any time thereafter, astrict benefit/risk assessment has to be performed). EPHMB Alginate Dressing must not be used in patientsto polyhexamethylene biguanide.

Rx Indications

PHMB Antibacterial Alginate Wound Dressing isindicated for first aid to help in minor abrasions, minor cuts, minor lacerations, minor scrapes, minor scalds andminor burs.
