Medical ostomy bags are medical care products used to collect human excreta (such as urine and feces). They are mainly suitable for patients who need to establish an artificial excretion channel in the abdomen due to disease or surgery (such as enterostomy and urinary ostomy). It is made of waterproof and leakproof sterile materials, usually consisting of a stoma base (adhered to the skin) and a collection bag. It has good sealing and anti-backflow design, which can effectively avoid leakage and odor.
Ostomy bags are divided into one-piece (the base and the bag body are inseparable) and two-piece (the base and the bag body are detachable). According to the characteristics of excreta, they are divided into open bags (suitable for feces, easy to clean) and closed bags (suitable for urine, disposable). The product material is soft and fits the skin. The hydrocolloid base reduces skin irritation and prevents allergies caused by long-term wear.
JNCMED ostomy bags focus on humanized design, such as transparent observation windows, antibacterial and deodorizing technology, low-sensitivity adhesive stickers, etc., to help patients maintain a normal life. Correct use requires following steps such as cleaning, measuring stoma size, and regular replacement. If necessary, operation must be under the guidance of medical staff.

1. Wash your hands and clean the skin around the stoma, keep the skin dry.
2. Use a stoma measuring ruler to determine the size, and make sure that the bottom plate opening is 1-2mm larger than the stoma to prevent compression or leakage.
3. Cut the center hole of the bottom plate according to the measured size, and the edges are smooth and burr-free to avoid rubbing the stoma.
4. Tear off the bottom plate protective film, press and stick it to the stoma, and smooth it from the center to the outside to ensure that there are no wrinkles and the seal is firm.
5. Gently pull the bag to test whether it is firm and observe whether the edges fit.
Daily maintenance
Regularly observe the viscosity of the bottom plate (usually replace it every 3-7 days), and discharge or replace it in time when the excrement reaches 1/3 of the capacity.
