A suction catheter is a flexible, sterile medical device designed to remove respiratory secretions, such as mucus, blood, or vomit, from a patient's airway. It is commonly used in combination with a suction machine during procedures in hospitals, emergency care, and intensive care units.
Sputum suction pipe sealing film produced by imported resin, strong toughness, feel is exquisite and conducive to health care workers.
Sputum suction tube body design scale mark line, facilitate throughout the sputumsuction effect-Closed suction phlegm tube adopts full closed type design, can be used to syne withbreathing machine, at the time of sputum suctionoxygen to sustainable, convenientand safe operation,to avoid cross-infection.
Specification: Fr6-Fr18-24 hours.
| Model | Suction Catheter |

| Material | PVC |
Medical-Grade PVC Material
Made from non-toxic, latex-free, and transparent material for safe, biocompatible use.
Smooth, Rounded Tip
Minimizes trauma during insertion, especially important for tracheal or bronchial suction.
Side Eyelets
Dual or single lateral holes at the distal end provide effective secretion removal while reducing tissue damage.
Color-Coded Connector
Enables quick identification of catheter size (Fr) for clinical accuracy.
Length Options
Common lengths: 40 cm (adults), 30 cm (children), 20 cm (infants); size ranges: 6Fr–18Fr.
Sterile, Single-Use Packaging
Individually packed to prevent infection and ensure hygiene.
Optional Finger Control Valve
Allows suction control with fingertip operation, improving procedural accuracy and safety.
1. Switch on the suction device and maintain negative pressure.
2. Connect the suction tube to the suction pipe and make sure that the seal is good.
3. Remove the suction tube using aseptic technique.
4. Insert the suction tube slowly into the airway (e.g. nasal, oral, tracheal cannula, etc.) and do not suction during insertion to avoid mucosal damage.
5. When the desired depth is reached, suction is initiated, and the tube is withdrawn with slow rotation and negative pressure for no more than 10-15 seconds.
6. Repeat the procedure as necessary, with an interval of 30 seconds to 1 minute between each operation.
7. Give the patient oxygen if necessary.
Tracheostomy or Endotracheal Suctioning
For patients with artificial airways (e.g., in ICU or post-operative care).
Emergency Airway Clearance
Used during resuscitation or trauma care to maintain a clear airway.
Surgical Suctioning
Removal of blood, fluids, or debris during surgical procedures.
Homecare Settings
For patients with chronic respiratory conditions requiring frequent airway clearance.
Ambulance / Pre-hospital Use
For immediate suctioning in field settings by paramedics.
