IV Infusion Connector is a core component in the infusion system, mainly used to safely and aseptically connect the infusion container (such as infusion bag, catheter) to the patient's vascular access. Its design must meet the requirements of sealing, infection prevention and misconnection prevention to ensure accurate infusion of the drug solution. The connector can prevent leakage and blockage, prevent air from entering the blood vessels to form air embolism, reduce the risk of infusion during infusion, and ensure patient safety.
Our connector types include Luer connectors and needleless connectors. Luer connectors are divided into threaded Luer locks and friction-fixed Luer sleeves, which are widely used for the connection of infusion sets, syringes and indwelling needles. Needleless connectors reduce the risk of needlestick injuries through diaphragm design and are often used for the maintenance of indwelling catheters, such as positive pressure connectors and diaphragm connectors.
JNCMED connectors are mostly made of medical-grade plastics, such as polypropylene or polycarbonate, and some products are added with antibacterial coatings to improve safety. Complying with ISO 80369 and ISO 594 international standards, the size, sealing and compatibility of connectors are strictly regulated to ensure correct use in different medical scenarios.
In addition, customers should strictly follow aseptic operation when using, disinfect the interface before connection to avoid contamination. The Luer lock needs to be tightened by rotation, and the Luer sleeve needs to be inserted vertically and confirmed to be firm.

Safe and reliable
Adopting standardized design to ensure tight connection and reduce the risk of leakage or falling off.
Reduce infection risk
The connector design can reduce open operation, reduce the possibility of blood exposure and bacterial contamination.
Convenient operation
The standardized interface design enables quick matching of components such as infusion sets, syringes, and catheters, improving medical care efficiency.
Reduce the risk of needlestick injuries
The application of needleless connectors can prevent medical staff from being accidentally injured by needles during operation and improve occupational safety.
Strong compatibility
Comply with international standards (such as ISO 80369, CE, FDA, etc.) to ensure the correct connection of medical devices of different brands and uses to prevent misconnection.
Multifunctional adapter
Some connectors have special functions, such as precision filtration or anti-blood return design.
Improve patient comfort
The stable connection reduces repeated adjustments caused by looseness or leakage, and improves the treatment experience.

Instructions for use
Prepare supplies: Check whether the infusion set, Luer connector, and disinfectant are intact and within the validity period.
Disinfection: Thoroughly wipe the end face and threaded part of the Luer connector with a 75% alcohol cotton pad.
Alignment connection: Align the cone of the infusion set vertically with the Luer connector to ensure that there is no deviation.
Rotation lock: Rotate the infusion set clockwise until the Luer lock thread is fully engaged and fixed.
Check the sealing: Gently pull the connection to confirm that there is no looseness and observe whether there is any leakage.
Conventional intravenous infusion therapy
The connector is used to connect the infusion set to the infusion bag/bottle, indwelling needle, etc. to ensure safe infusion of the drug solution. It is suitable for conventional drug treatment such as antibiotics and electrolytes
Home infusion care
The connector design is easy for patients or family members to operate, supporting home treatments such as long-term intravenous nutrition and antibiotics.
