Steps for Using an HBsAg Test

Steps for Using a HBsAg Test

1. Sample Collection & Preparation

  • Collect whole blood, serum, or plasma via venipuncture or fingerstick (depending on test type).

  • For rapid tests, use the provided capillary tubes or droppers to transfer 10-50 µL of the sample.

  • For ELISA/PCR, centrifuge blood samples (if required) and aliquot into sterile tubes.

2. Test Setup

  • A. Rapid Lateral Flow Test:

Place the test cassette on a flat, dry surface.

Add 3-4 drops of sample (or buffer if specified) into the sample well.

Wait 10-15 minutes for visible lines (control + result).

  • B. ELISA Procedure:

Load samples, standards, and controls into pre-coated microplate wells.

Incubate (30-60 min at 37°C), wash, and add enzyme conjugate.

After further incubation, add TMB substrate for color development.

Stop the reaction and measure absorbance with a microplate reader.

  • C. PCR Testing:

Extract HBsAg Test DNA/RNA using the provided kit.

Prepare the PCR mix (primers, probes, master mix) and load it into the reaction tubes.

Run real-time PCR with recommended cycling conditions.

3. Interpretation of Results

  • Rapid Test:

Positive: Control line (C) + test line (T) visible.

Negative: Only the control line (C) appears.

Invalid: No control line – repeat test.

  • ELISA/PCR:

Compare optical density (OD) or Ct values against cutoff standards.

Quantify viral load (if applicable).

4. Post-Test Protocol

  • Dispose of biohazard waste properly.

  • Record results and report as per clinical guidelines.

  • Note: Always refer to the product insert for specific instructions.

Why Choose Our HBsAg Test?

Features of HBsAg Test

HBsAg Test HBsAg Test

1. Superior Diagnostic Performance & Accuracy

  • Ultra-Sensitive Detection:

    • Utilizes optimized monoclonal/polyclonal antibody pairs for detection levels as low as<0.1 IU/mL.

    • Ensures equal efficiency in detecting all major genotypes (A-H).

    • Features a unique pre-treatment step to dissociate immune complexes, significantly reducing false negatives.

  • Exceptional Specificity & Interference Resistance:

    • Demonstrates<0.01% cross-reactivity with HIV/HCV antibodies, Rheumatoid Factor (RF), and Human Anti-Mouse Antibodies (HAMA).

    • Internal hook effect prevention up to 500,000 IU/mL ensures accurate results for high-titer samples.

    • Dual-wavelength reading (450/630nm) minimizes background interference for cleaner signals.

  • Advanced Capabilities for Complex Cases:

    • Capable of identifying mutant HBsAg, crucial for detecting vaccine breakthrough infections.

    • Validated for Dried Blood Spot (DBS) testing, simplifying sample collection and transport.

    • Offers both quantitative and semi-quantitative reporting options to meet diverse clinical needs.

2. Optimized for Laboratory Workflow & Efficiency

  • Versatile Assay Formats:

    • Rapid Tests: Cassettes with built-in procedural controls for flow verification.

    • ELISA 3.0: Features patented signal amplification technology, delivering 5x higher sensitivity than conventional ELISA.

    • Chemiluminescence (CLIA): Offers a wide dynamic range up to 50,000 IU/mL for high-throughput screening.

  • Designed for Full Automation:

    • Ready-to-use, pre-diluted reagents are compatible with fully automated platforms.

    • Barcode-enabled kits allow for seamless integration with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS/HIS).

    • Standardized 96-well plates are compatible with all major ELISA processors and robotic systems.

  • Exceptional Stability & Storage Advantages:

    • Lyophilized reagents (ELISA/CLIA) maintain stability for 24 months at 2-8°C.

    • Rapid test cassettes are stable for 18 months at room temperature (≤30°C), eliminating the need for a cold chain.

    • Unique desiccant-free packaging prevents moisture damage and extends shelf life.

3. Summary: A New Standard in HBsAg Testing

This fourth-generation HBsAg assay combines diagnostic accuracy with operational excellence, outperforming conventional tests in:

✓ Earlier Detection: Identifies infections 5-7 days earlier, closing the diagnostic window period.

✓ Broader Coverage: Reliably detects immune escape variants often missed by other assays.

✓ Enhanced Throughput: Fully optimized for high-throughput, automated laboratory workflows.
