Feline Immunodeficiency Virus Antibody FIV Ab Rapid Test
Feline Immunodeficiency Virus Antibody (FIV Ab) Rapid Test Kit is a lateral flow immunochromatography-based diagnostic tool designed for the qualitative detection of FIV antibodies in feline serum, plasma or whole blood samples. The kit is highly sensitive and accurate, providing reliable results within 5-10 minutes, helping veterinarians and pet owners to quickly identify feline immunodeficiency virus infection. FIV is a virus that seriously harms the cat's immune system and is mainly transmitted through bites. Early detection is essential for controlling the disease and preventing transmission.
This kit is simple to operate and user-friendly, suitable for use in veterinary clinics, animal shelters and home environments. Its detection principle is based on immunochromatographic technology, which can specifically identify FIV antibodies in the blood and ensure the accuracy of the results. The kit contains a full set of components such as test cards, droppers, buffers and desiccant, and the test can be completed without complex equipment. The storage conditions are loose (2-30℃) and the test results have a long shelf life, which is convenient for daily use and long-term storage.
By detecting FIV infection early, veterinarians and pet owners can take supportive treatment measures in time, significantly improving the quality of life of sick cats. The kit provides an efficient and convenient solution for feline health management, making it an ideal choice for veterinary professionals and cat owners. Its rapid and reliable features make it an important tool for diagnosing and managing FIV infection, helping to improve the overall health of cats.

Test steps
Before testing, all materials (including samples and test tools) need to be balanced to room temperature of 15-25℃ to ensure the best test results.
Sample processing
Take out the test card from the aluminum foil bag and place it horizontally on a clean, stable table.
Mix 50μL sample (serum, plasma or whole blood) with the test buffer.
Use a dropper to draw 3 drops (about 120μL) of diluted sample and drop vertically into the "S" sample well of the test card.
Result interpretation
Positive (+): The "C" line (quality control line) and the "T" line (test line) appear in the test window at the same time, regardless of the depth of the T line.
Negative (-): Only a clear "C" line appears, no "T" line.
Invalid: If the "C" line does not appear, whether there is a "T" line or not, retest is required.
Note: Please read the results within 5-10 minutes after adding the sample. The results after 15 minutes are invalid.
