FCoV Feline Coronavirus Test for Sale

Feline Coronavirus FCoV Ag/Ab Rapid Detection Kit is an efficient and convenient diagnostic tool designed for the detection of feline coronavirus (FCoV). The kit uses immunochromatographic technology to simultaneously detect FCoV antigens in cat feces and FCoV antibodies in serum, plasma or whole blood, providing reliable support for clinical diagnosis and population screening. It is simple and fast to operate, and results can be obtained in only 5-10 minutes. It has high sensitivity and specificity, and can effectively reduce false negative and false positive results.

FCoV is a pathogen that is widely present in cats. Domestic cats and large cats can be infected worldwide. Although most of them show subclinical conditions or transient gastrointestinal symptoms (such as mild diarrhea and vomiting), early diagnosis is particularly important for preventing and controlling the spread of the virus. The kit contains a full set of test materials, such as collection tubes pre-filled with diluent, swabs, droppers and anticoagulant tubes, to achieve "one-step" detection. The quality control line design ensures the accuracy of the results. Regardless of the strength of the color development, it is judged as positive, but the results must be read strictly in the time window specified in the instructions.

Suitable for storage in a 2-30°C environment and with a long shelf life, this test kit combines laboratory accuracy with the convenience of on-site testing, providing an efficient FCoV screening solution for veterinary clinics, pet hospitals and catteries, and facilitating early identification and epidemiological monitoring of feline infectious peritonitis (FIP).

Steps for Using a FCoV Feline Coronavirus Test

Test procedure

FCoV Ag Test

1. Collect a sample from cat feces using a swab.

2. Insert the swab into the sample collection tube and stir at least 10 times.

3. Squeeze the swab firmly to make it close to the tube wall, then discard the swab.

4. After the large particles settle, use the disposable dropper provided to absorb the supernatant.

5. Drop 4 drops of the swab into the sampling hole of the test device.

FCoV Ab Test

1. Put the collected blood sample into the anticoagulant tube. Cover the anticoagulant tube cap and turn the tube upside down five times to mix the blood and EDTA solution thoroughly.

2. Use a capillary tube to add 10ul of serum, plasma or whole blood to the sample well.

3. Add 3 drops of test diluent to the sample well of the detector.

Result judgment

Positive (+): Both the test line (T) and the quality control line (C) are colored (regardless of the depth).

Negative (-): Only the quality control line (C) is colored, and the test line (T) is colorless.

Invalid: The quality control line (C) is not colored, and retesting is required.

Notes

Check the expiration date of the test kit before use and avoid freezing or high temperature storage.

Do not mix different sample types (feces/blood) on the same test card.

Strictly read according to the time, and the overtime result is invalid.
