Canine Parvovirus Antigen (CPV Ag) Rapid Test Kit

Canine parvovirus is a highly contagious and lethal pathogen. Viral infection develops rapidly and has a high mortality rate. Canine parvovirus is highly contagious and can infect dogs of different ages, genders and breeds, especially underage puppies. Clinical manifestations are vomiting and diarrhea. The Canine Parvovirus Antigen Detection Kit can detect canine parvovirus antigens in dog feces, rectum and vomitus.

The Canine Parvovirus Antigen Rapid Detection Kit is a rapid diagnostic tool based on immunochromatographic technology, designed for the detection of canine parvovirus (CPV) antigens. The kit can efficiently screen CPV antigens in dog feces, rectal secretions and vomitus, and is suitable for a variety of scenarios such as pet hospitals, homes and rescue sites, providing strong support for the early diagnosis of canine parvovirus infection.

The kit is convenient, fast and accurate, does not require complex pretreatment, and significantly improves the detection efficiency. Its high sensitivity and specificity ensure the reliability of the results and can be used as an important tool for clinical auxiliary diagnosis. However, this product is only for professionals and needs to be combined with other clinical information for comprehensive judgment. Early screening and timely treatment can effectively reduce the risk of canine parvovirus transmission and provide protection for the health of dogs.

Test steps

  • Sampling: Take dog feces, vomitus or rectal secretions and put them into a sterile sampling tube for later use.

  • Sample processing: Put the cotton swab into the diluent test tube, stir it thoroughly and let it stand for 1 minute to dissolve the sample evenly.

  • Add sample: Use a dropper to absorb the liquid sample and vertically add 3-4 drops to the sample well of the reagent kit.

  • Wait for reaction: Lay the test card flat, let it stand for 10 minutes, and wait for the chromatography reaction to complete.

  • Read the result: Observe the test window. The appearance of C line indicates validity, and the color of T line indicates positive.

Result judgment:

  • Positive (+): Whether the T line is clear or not, the "C" line and the regional "T" line can be seen.

  • Negative (-): Only a clear C line is displayed, and no T line.

  • Invalid: There is no colored line in the C area. Regardless of whether the T line appears or not.
