Canine Distemper Virus Antigen (CDV Ag) Test Kit
Canine distemper virus (CDV) belongs to the genus Morbillivirus of the family Paramyxoviridae. It is a single-stranded RNA virus that mainly infects canids and mustelids. The virus is transmitted through air and droplets. Sick dogs can excrete the virus through urine for a long time, polluting the environment and threatening other healthy dogs. Dogs of different ages, genders and breeds can be infected, so timely and accurate detection is crucial to controlling the epidemic. This kit provides a reliable basis for clinical diagnosis by detecting viral antigens in samples such as eye secretions, nasal fluids, and saliva.
Canine distemper virus antigen detection kit (CDV Ag) is a diagnostic tool for rapid qualitative detection of canine distemper virus antigens in canine eye, nasal, anal secretions or serum and plasma samples. The kit uses lateral flow immunochromatography technology, which can complete the test within 5-10 minutes. It is easy to operate and the results are intuitive. It is suitable for rapid clinical screening and early diagnosis.
The kit has high sensitivity (97.26%) and specificity (100%), with an accuracy of 99.30%. The detection principle is based on immunochromatography technology: CDV antigens in the sample combine with monoclonal antibodies labeled with colloidal gold and move along the chromatographic membrane. If there is antigen in the sample, it will combine with the antibody on the test line (T) and develop color; if there is no antigen, no color will develop. This design ensures the reliability and intuitiveness of the test results, providing strong support for the prevention and control of canine distemper.

Test operation
Use a cotton swab to collect eye, nose or anal secretions, or collect serum/plasma samples for later use.
Immerse the sampling cotton swab fully in the diluent, stir and let stand for 1 minute to release the antigen.
Pull 80-100μL of sample solution and drip vertically into the sample well of the test kit.
Place the test kit horizontally and let stand at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to wait for the results.
Result interpretation:
Positive (+): Whether the T line is clear or not, the "C" line and the regional "T" line can be seen.
Negative (-): Only a clear C line is shown, no T line.
Invalid: No colored line in the C area. Regardless of whether the T line appears or not.
1. Fast and efficient
The test only takes 5-10 minutes, which is suitable for rapid clinical screening and helps to diagnose canine distemper infection in a timely manner.
2. Easy to operate
The lateral flow immunochromatography technology is used, and no complex equipment is required. The results can be read by simply adding samples.
3. High sensitivity
The relative sensitivity is 97.26%, which can effectively detect low-concentration antigens and reduce the risk of missed detection.
4. Excellent specificity
The relative specificity is 100%, avoiding cross-reaction with other pathogens to ensure accurate results.
5. High accuracy
The comprehensive accuracy is 99.30%, and the test results are reliable, providing a strong basis for clinical diagnosis.
6. Applicable to multiple samples
Support eye, nose, anal secretions and serum and plasma testing to meet different sampling needs.
7. Intuitive interpretation
The wine red test line (T) has a clear color, the results are clear and easy to identify, and the possibility of misjudgment is reduced.
8. Early diagnosis
Direct detection of viral antigens can detect pathogens in the early stage of infection and help timely intervention.
