Steps for Using a Anesthesia Mask

Choose a suitable anesthesia mask, make sure it is the right size for the patient's face, the material meets the requirements and is not damaged.
Connect the anesthesia mask to the corresponding interface of the anesthesia machine or ventilator, and ensure that the connection is tight and there is no air leakage.
Put the patient in a suitable position, generally supine, with the head and neck naturally stretched to facilitate airway patency.
Gently place the anesthesia mask on the patient's face so that the mask covers the patient's mouth and nose. Note that it should fit tightly with the face. You can ensure a good seal by adjusting the air cushion or headband, but do not over-press the face.
Turn on the anesthesia machine or ventilator, adjust the appropriate parameters according to the patient's condition, such as oxygen flow, respiratory rate, tidal volume, etc., and start anesthesia or respiratory support.
During use, closely observe the patient's vital signs, including breathing, heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, etc., as well as the wearing of the mask. If there is any abnormality, deal with it in time.
After use, turn off the anesthesia machine or ventilator, carefully remove the anesthesia mask, and properly dispose of it in accordance with the regulations for medical waste disposal. It cannot be reused.
